The Booking Service is a feature that allows customers to schedule appointments with PROs based on their available time slots. Once enabled, customers can view your availability directly on your PRO profile and submit a booking request. This gives customers an easy and proactive way to reach out to you, significantly improving task conversion and communication efficiency.
This article will guide you through how to use the Booking Service effectively to attract more leads and manage your schedule with ease.

1. What are the benefits of the Booking Service?
- More effective lead generation: Customers who have viewed your profile can directly request an appointment, increasing the likelihood of conversion.
- Improved communication efficiency: Eliminates the need for PROs to initiate contact through manual quoting.
- Better job matching: Only jobs that meet your service scope, location, and availability will be matched and shown.
2. How does the Booking Service work?
Once the Booking Service is enabled, your available time slots—based on your Service Hours and calendar—will be displayed on your PRO profile.
(1) Consumers can access the "Available Booking Dates" from your PRO profile and select a preferred time.
(2) Customers select a time slot and submit a booking.
The system displays real-time available time slots from your Service Hours and Calendar, helping customers clearly see when you're available.
(3) Booking requirements
For a customer to successfully book with you:
- The booking time must fall within your available Service Hours and not conflict with any Calendar blocks.
- The job must fully match your job scope and location settings.
If any conditions are not met, you will still receive a New Lead notification, and you may choose whether to accept or decline the booking after reviewing the task details.
(4) No quoting required for booked tasks
When a customer successfully books an appointment, you gain immediate access to their task details and can communicate with them directly—no need to quote before engaging.
3. How do I enable the Booking Service?
Go to Services → Select a service → Enable Booking Service.
If it's your first time enabling the feature, the system will walk you through the required setup.
4. How do I view confirmed bookings?
When a booking is successfully created (i.e., it meets all your conditions), it will appear as an appointment in your calendar.
(1) Through Work Messages:
Booked tasks will be displayed in your Work Messages. You can see the appointment time at the top of the chat window and start communicating with the customer directly.
(2) Through Calendar:
Booked tasks will appear with a blue background in your calendar. Click View My Bookings to see a list of upcoming appointments created through the Booking Service. You can manage your availability easily from here.
5. How is the Booking Service charged?
(1) Charges for Successful Bookings:
When a customer successfully books an appointment, you gain full access to their contact details, and a contact fee will be charged.
-
-
Fees are first deducted from your stored credits.
-
If your credits are insufficient, the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card.
-
You can view contact fees per task in the Budget section.
-
Please refer to: How to view contact fees for different projects.
(2) Confirmation Required for Partially Matched Tasks:
If a booking does not fully meet your working conditions or location settings, you’ll receive a New Lead notification. In this case, you must manually confirm the task before the system charges any fees.
(3) Control Your Spending through Budget Settings:
You can set a weekly spending limit in the Budget section. Once your weekly limit is reached, the Booking Service will automatically pause until the next cycle. For more details, please refer to the FAQs on promoting services.
6. What should I prepare before enabling the Booking Service?
To avoid unwanted contact fees from irrelevant bookings, make sure the following settings are properly configured:
(1) Set Service Hours and Calendar
Define your working hours using Service Hours, and block unavailable time using the Calendar.
Only available time slots will be shown to customers. Once a booking is confirmed, it will also automatically appear in your calendar.
In Other Settings under Service Hours, you can specify the maximum number of customers per time slot. If that limit is reached, the time slot will no longer be available for booking.

(2) Set Travel Preferences and Service Areas
Indicate whether you offer online-only or on-site services and define your service areas to ensure accurate task matching.
(3) Define Your Working Conditions
Clearly define what types of tasks you accept to avoid irrelevant requests.
Since some customer needs may not be fully captured in the request form, they may select Other. If you’re unsure about taking on certain types of jobs, it’s advisable to uncheck this option.
7. How can I attract more customer bookings?
(1) Set Clear Pricing
Customers prefer PROs with transparent pricing. Use a pricing table to list service rates rather than leaving it as Price to be discussed. This increases your credibility and competitiveness. For detailed setup instructions, please refer to How to set up a pricing table?
(2) Optimize your Service Descriptions and PRO Profile
Both your Service Description and PRO Profile help customers make decisions before booking.
- Include detailed information about your services and pricing in the Service Description to build trust.
- Optimise your PRO Profile with information about your experience, credentials, service photos, and answers to FAQs. A complete and professional profile increases your chances of being selected.
For more information on how to use service descriptions and optimize PRO profiles, please refer to the relevant articles: "How to use service descriptions?" and "PRO profile editing".
8. Booking vs. Confirmed Deals:
Please note: a booking does not automatically mean a confirmed deal.
Customers may book to discuss, inspect, or get a trial, and the final service agreement still depends on mutual discussion and confirmation.
The Booking Service is designed to reduce communication barriers and improve matching—but not to guarantee orders.
That said, when a customer actively books you, it shows strong interest in your service and presents a high chance of conversion—so don’t miss out on these opportunities!
