We know that all pros want to avoid spending quotation costs on expired customer requests. Therefore, in the "New Job", we add the validity periods of the jobs to reduce the chance of spending quotation costs on invalid jobs. You can choose the jobs that are most likely to be accomplished and contact the customers of those jobs to increase your rate of return. When choosing a job, in addition to understanding whether the customer needs to suit your service, you also need to consider the timing of making the quotation. The newer the job and the more immediate contact, the higher the transaction rate. Customers are looking for pros to solve their problems when they put up their job requests. This is the best time to contact (this is also the most significant advantage of the “Automatic Quotation” in "Promotion Service", which can ensure 24/7 real-time quotation). A few days after the customer puts up the request, even if the job has not expired, it does not mean that the customer still has a demand. The customer may have found another pro through the automatic quotation of the promotion service. Before the customer changes the status to hire, the job is still shown as not expired. The most important thing is to consider when the job is put up and choose the latest and most immediate job for a quotation.
PRO360 "Job Validity" function
PRO360 matches customer job requests with your service categories, job preference, and the location at the time when the request is put up. Matched jobs will be added to your "Jobs". If you choose “Manual Quotation” or “Guaranteed Reply” to pick your customer job requests, in "Jobs", you can choose jobs that you are interested in and make a quotation to contact the customer. "Jobs" are displayed, the newest jobs on the top and the oldest ones at the bottom. Jobs reached expiry will no longer be shown. If you choose the “Auto Quotation” in “Promotion Service”, the system will work 24/7 and make quotations for you automatically according to your setting.
Jobs will be deleted under the following conditions:
- When the job has reached the validity period
- When the quota of 5 pros making manual quotation to contact the customer has been reached
- When the status of the job has been changed to hire
- When the customers close the job
“Jobs not expired” means the customers still have the demand?
As explained earlier in this article, the newer the job, the more immediate the quotation, the higher the transaction rate. PRO360 has done a serious job in the quality control of jobs, including requiring customers to fill out questionnaires, phone authentication, random calls by customer service officers, etc. However, even if a job has not expired, the customer may have found another pro through the automatic quotation of the promotion service. Before the customer changes the status to hire, the job is still shown as not expired in the "New Job".
How is the "Job Validity Period" set?
The quotation system will minimize the job posting period and decide an appropriate job validity period considering various data, including the category of the job, the industry, quotation submission habit of pros, etc. The validity for most of the jobs is 3 days, 7 days, or 14 days. For a small number of job items, the validity is 30 days. The system allows customers to alter the expiry dates for some items, and the job validity period will be adjusted accordingly.
How to check the "Job Validity Period"?
Before you make a quotation to the customer, you can go to the job description to check the job validity period of each job. From your pro account, go to Jobs -> Select Job -> then scroll to the bottom to see the job validity period.
Hope this function can help you identify better job opportunities and increase your success rate!
